On August 1, 2006, Bissonette House picked up the pieces left from Sr. Karen’s tragic death by announcing Gregory J Brice as the Executive Director of Bissonette House. Mr. Brice has been charged with continuing Sr. Karen’s ministry work. To this end, extensive studying and applications have been underway to continue this very important mission. Mr. Brice has become very active in not only the operations of Bissonette House but also continuing Sr. Karen’s work on the nonviolence and peacekeeping fronts. Mr. Brice has an extensive background in the Human Services arena, primarily working with at-risk and disadvantaged youth and young adults, working to steer them in the right direction so that positive impacts may be made in their lives and they go on in life to be successful at whatever they choose to do as a career.
